I managed to give flowers for Mother's Day supporting the industry and wasting money on what will be a bunch of dead flowers in a few days. Oh well, it's the thought that counts.
I have to share that today, Mother's Day 2008 I shat in the woods for the first time in my life. Yes, I know, growing up in NB and this is a first? I have lead a sheltered life my friends. Does this count as a rite of passage? Would it count if you were sweating toxins out of your pores at the time due to over indulgence in rich foods and liquor the previous day? I did not manage to find a good drinking rock but still it was a good hike.
